First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at whether starting with a low-carb diet and then switching to low-fat helps people lose more body fat than the opposite order. Over 8 weeks, 42 overweight adults will eat specially prepared meals at home and have body scans and metabolism tests. The goal is to see if diet order matters for weight loss.
