Can a special diet after your colonoscopy keep polyps away?

NCT ID NCT06603519

Summary

This study is testing whether eating a specific high-fiber, plant-based Mediterranean diet for two weeks after a colonoscopy can improve gut health. Researchers will enroll 30 people with a history of colon polyps to see if the diet reduces inflammation, changes gut bacteria, and improves digestive comfort. They will track these changes using blood tests and stool samples collected over several weeks.
