Summary
This study looks at whether two easy, non-invasive tests—a breath test (FeNO) and a blood test (eosinophils)—can accurately diagnose asthma in children aged 6 to 17. Currently, diagnosing asthma often requires a hospital-based breathing challenge test. The goal is to see if these simpler tests work well enough to be used in a doctor's office, especially for children whose initial breathing tests were not clear.
