Summary
This study is creating a smarter system to catch and treat diabetic retinopathy (an eye disease caused by diabetes) earlier. Researchers will use eye images, medical records, and blood tests from nearly 3,000 adults with type 2 diabetes to build models that predict disease risk and tailor care. The goal is to slow vision loss and improve management through personalized monitoring and a team-based approach.
