Can a Dad's lifestyle change his sperm and his future Kids' health?

NCT ID NCT03860558

Summary

This study is exploring whether a father's diabetes and weight can leave marks on his sperm that might influence his future children's health risks. Researchers are enrolling 40 overweight men with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to see if a 3-month lifestyle program focused on blood sugar control can improve these sperm markers. The goal is to understand if improving a father's health before conception could benefit the next generation.
