Summary

This study tested a diabetes prevention program specifically designed for college students at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Eighty UCLA students participated in a program focused on lifestyle coaching, healthy eating, and physical activity over nine months. Researchers compared this tailored program to a control group to see if it helped students lose weight and improve their health.
