Could a simple device and a helping hand ease the burden of diabetes?

NCT ID NCT05601583

Summary

This study is exploring if a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help older adults with type 2 diabetes and mild memory problems manage their condition better when they share the data with a family member or caregiver. For two weeks, 10 older adults and their 10 helpers will use the CGM device and a phone app. Researchers will then interview them separately to learn what features of this shared monitoring approach are most useful.
