New supplement shows promise for prediabetes control

Summary

This study tests whether a supplement called dihydroberberine (DHB) can improve blood sugar control, appetite, and energy in adults with prediabetes. About 54 participants will take either DHB or a placebo daily for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure blood sugar, insulin, and GLP-1 levels, and track how much time blood sugar stays in a healthy range.
