Pilot study checks if DHA screening is practical for pregnant women

Summary

This study looks at whether it is practical to offer a blood test for DHA (a nutrient important for baby's brain development) to all pregnant women early in their care. About 650 patients starting prenatal care at participating clinics will be invited to take the test. The main goal is to see how many women choose to get screened.
