First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a sugar solution (dextrose prolotherapy) can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with long-term tailbone pain (coccydynia). About 40 adults who have had pain for over 6 months and not improved with standard care will receive either the injections or a placebo. The main goal is to see if this treatment eases pain during sitting and activity.
