Summary
This study tested whether dexmedetomidine, a drug that calms agitation, can help COPD patients with psychosis who are already using a non-invasive breathing mask. The goal was to see if it could prevent them from needing a breathing tube. The study included 70 adults aged 18-60 with severe COPD and agitation.
