NCT ID NCT06988124
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting steroid called dexamethasone palmitate can better prevent nausea and vomiting after brain surgery compared to the standard steroid. About 500 adults having elective brain surgery will receive either the new drug or standard dexamethasone before their operation. The main goal is to see if fewer people feel sick in the first 24 hours after surgery.
