Dental implant pain relief: which steroid dose works best?

Summary
This study compares 4mg and 8mg of dexamethasone (a steroid) given at the surgical site to reduce pain after dental implant surgery. 138 adults will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two doses or a placebo. Pain will be measured for 6 days after surgery, and the number of pain pills taken will also be recorded. The goal is to find the best dose for controlling pain after this common dental procedure.
