Could a common steroid boost brain healing after CO poisoning?

Summary

This study tests whether adding the steroid dexamethasone to standard hyperbaric oxygen therapy improves thinking and memory after carbon monoxide poisoning. Twenty adults who receive hyperbaric oxygen will be randomly assigned to also get dexamethasone or a placebo. The goal is to see if the combination reduces long-term brain damage.
