VA tests new push to fight depression in veterans with HIV
NCT ID NCT05901272
Summary
This study is testing two different ways to help VA clinics start using a proven team-based service for managing depression in Veterans who are living with HIV. The service has been shown to improve depression symptoms and save money, but it's not yet available. Researchers are comparing a simpler approach using a local clinic champion to a more involved approach that adds an outside expert, to see which is more effective and cost-efficient for getting the service to Veterans who need it.
