Summary
This study tests whether using plaque-disclosing dyes (like erythrosine) with a special light can kill more cavity-causing bacteria in children aged 3 to 7 years. Seventy-two kids at high risk for cavities will get either standard dental cleaning or cleaning plus the dye-and-light treatment. The goal is to see if this simple method can better control dental plaque and prevent cavities.
