Doctors' offices test new system to fix America's dental care gap
NCT ID NCT06555029
Summary
This study tests a new system in primary care clinics to help older adults on Medicaid get to the dentist. Medical assistants will be trained to screen for oral health problems and make referrals during regular doctor visits. Researchers want to see if this approach leads to more people getting dental care and improving their oral health over two years.
