Summary

This study looked at whether deep tissue massage can reduce pain, improve neck movement, and boost quality of life in people with myofascial pain syndrome. Eighty adults with at least one active trigger point and neck pain for three months or more took part. Researchers measured changes in pain, disability, range of motion, and trigger point count over four weeks.
