Texts to tame the party: new study tests safer drinking for young adults
NCT ID NCT06978140
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether online health messages and texts can help young adults (ages 18-24) who choose to drink have safer, more positive experiences. 35 participants in Washington State were randomly assigned to receive the messages or just fill out surveys. The main goal was to see if the materials were easy to use and acceptable, not to change drinking habits.
