NCT ID NCT04026893

First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026

Summary

This study is for women who cannot get pregnant because their uterus is missing or not working. Participants will first create and freeze embryos through IVF. Then they will receive a uterus from a deceased donor. After recovery, an embryo is placed, and if pregnancy occurs, it is closely monitored. The uterus is removed after one or two births. Women must take anti-rejection drugs for life to keep the transplant healthy.
