New drug combo aims to stop MDS relapse after transplant

NCT ID NCT04742634

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a drug combination called DEC-C early to people with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) who still have signs of disease after a stem cell transplant can lower the chance of the cancer coming back. About 209 participants will be checked for leftover disease using a special genetic test, and those with positive results will receive DEC-C. The goal is to see if this approach improves how long people stay cancer-free without causing severe side effects.
