First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at how community organizations can successfully run a healthy lifestyle program called Deaf Weight Wise for Deaf adults who use American Sign Language. Researchers worked with partners in Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, New York, to see if they could deliver the program as intended. The goal was to improve diet and health habits, not to cure a disease.
