Summary
This study tested whether a 10-session Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills program could reduce rumination (repetitive negative thinking) and cognitive avoidance (avoiding difficult thoughts) in middle-school teachers. Thirty-four female teachers in Iran took part, with half receiving the training and half serving as a control group. The goal was to see if DBT could improve teachers' mental well-being by helping them manage unhelpful thought patterns.
