Which anesthesia is better for Parkinson's battery surgery?

Summary
This study looks at two ways to manage pain during battery replacement surgery for deep brain stimulators in people with Parkinson's disease. One method uses general anesthesia (you are fully asleep), and the other uses regional anesthesia (you are awake but numb). The goal is to see which approach leads to less pain and higher satisfaction after surgery. About 50 adults aged 40-85 will take part.
