NCT ID NCT06195241
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests DaxibotulinumtoxinA (Daxxify) in 40 adults with benign essential blepharospasm (uncontrollable eye blinking) or hemifacial spasm (one-sided face twitching). Participants who previously used Botox will switch to Daxxify to see if it works as well or better. The main goal is to measure changes in spasm severity and frequency using a standard rating scale.

- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could offer a longer-lasting alternative to Botox for controlling eye and face muscle spasms.
