First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether providing home-delivered DASH diet groceries (low salt, rich in fruits and veggies) can lower blood pressure in Black adults who live in Boston-area food deserts and have mildly elevated blood pressure but are not on medication. About 150 participants will receive the groceries and have their blood pressure measured over time. The goal is to see if better food access can help control blood pressure without drugs.
