First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week program combining modern dance with mindfulness exercises can improve psychological well-being, reduce stress, and increase happiness in recreational adult dancers. About 160 adults who already take dance classes will be randomly assigned to either the program or a waitlist. The program includes breathing techniques, dance moves, and journaling to help regulate the nervous system and build body awareness.
