First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests an FDA-approved dye called CYTALUX that makes cancer cells glow under a special camera during surgery. About 50 adults with gastrointestinal or gynecologic cancers will get the dye before their operation. The goal is to see if it helps surgeons find cancer that might otherwise be missed.
