First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a new 3D imaging technique (3D-EIT) can detect a specific blood flow pattern in the lungs of patients with moderate to severe ARDS who are on breathing machines. About 40 adults will be observed non-invasively at the bedside. No treatment is given; the goal is to better understand lung injury during mechanical ventilation.
