First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether custom silicone toe orthoses (inserts) could reduce foot pressure and prevent pre-ulcerative lesions in people with diabetic neuropathy. Sixty participants with diabetes and foot deformities wore the orthoses for six months. The goal was to see if these inserts improve foot health and lower the risk of ulcers.
