Blood test may outsmart ovarian cancer relapse

NCT ID NCT06071286

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test that looks for tumor DNA (ctDNA) to see if it can find ovarian cancer coming back earlier than current methods like CT scans or CA-125 blood tests. About 30 women with advanced ovarian cancer will give blood samples over time during their follow-up. If the test works well, it could help doctors catch relapses sooner and tailor treatment more quickly.
