Blood test may spot hidden skin cancer after surgery
NCT ID NCT06875609
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a blood test (liquid biopsy) to see if it can find tiny bits of cancer DNA left behind after surgery for a type of skin cancer called cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. The test may also help track how well immunotherapy treatment is working. About 60 people with high-risk skin cancer will participate to see if the test can predict if the cancer will come back.
