Blood test could spot hidden skin cancer after surgery

NCT ID NCT06875609

First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is testing a blood test (liquid biopsy) to see if it can find tiny bits of cancer DNA left behind after surgery for a type of skin cancer called cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. It will also check if the test can track how well immunotherapy is working. About 60 people with high-risk skin cancer are being recruited to help determine if this test can predict if the cancer will come back.
