Blood test may spot hidden ovarian cancer after surgery
NCT ID NCT07546578
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test that finds tiny bits of tumor DNA (called ctDNA) can help doctors decide who needs extra treatment after surgery for early ovarian cancer. Researchers will test stored blood samples from 50 patients taken before and after surgery. The goal is to see if the test can predict which patients are at higher risk of the cancer coming back.
