First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for actinic keratosis, rough skin spots caused by sun exposure. About 73 adults with at least 10 spots on their head, neck, or limbs will receive both cryotherapy (freezing) and a 5-FU cream on different body areas. Researchers will track which treatment clears more spots, side effects, and how satisfied patients are over 12 months.
