Helicopter medics test smart system for shock care

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive decision support system called CRUISE that helps medics identify and manage shock in critically ill adults during helicopter transport. Researchers will compare the system's recommendations to standard care given by paramedics. The goal is to see if the system is safe and can speed up resuscitation. About 60 adult patients in shock will be observed.
