Summary
This study is testing a new web-based tool that gives people with a family history of Crohn's disease a personalized estimate of their own risk. Researchers want to see if receiving this risk information motivates healthy changes in diet, exercise, and smoking, and if those changes affect early biological signs of the disease. The study is enrolling 80 people who have a close relative with Crohn's but do not have the disease themselves.
