First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking creatine supplements while doing supervised resistance training for 12 weeks can help men with prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy (ADT) maintain or improve their muscle mass, strength, and physical function. ADT often causes muscle loss and weakness. The study involves 34 men who will be randomly assigned to receive either creatine or a placebo, and all will do the same exercise program. Results will be measured at the start and after 12 weeks.
