Gentle touch therapy tested to ease burden on special needs caregivers
NCT ID NCT07443527
Summary
This study is testing whether craniosacral therapy, a gentle hands-on treatment, can help reduce pain, depression, and improve quality of life for primary caregivers of individuals with special needs. Thirty female caregivers will be assigned to either receive the therapy sessions or be in a control group that does not. Researchers will measure changes in pain, body awareness, mood, and stress levels to see if the therapy provides meaningful support.
