Can a berry drink tame blood sugar and improve gut health?
NCT ID NCT07460856
Summary
This study is testing whether drinking a cranberry beverage for 12 weeks can improve blood sugar control, cholesterol levels, and the balance of gut bacteria in overweight or obese adults. Participants will drink either the cranberry drink or a placebo for two separate periods, with tests to measure changes in metabolism and gut health. The goal is to see if this simple dietary addition can help manage risks linked to excess weight.
