First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether breathing oxygen-rich air during rest periods between short exercise bouts can help people with COPD feel less out of breath and improve their sleep. Fifty adults with moderate COPD will try different recovery conditions on separate days. Researchers will measure how hard the exercise feels, track heart and lung responses, and monitor sleep quality.
