This study looked at whether using a CPAP machine at night can reduce the amount of time people spend in atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm). The study included 25 adults with both sleep apnea and a type of AFib that comes and goes. Researchers measured changes in heart rhythm, heart size, quality of life, and hospital visits.
