Sleep apnea patients may use CPAP more when they see how they rank against others
NCT ID NCT07124975
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether showing sleep apnea patients how their CPAP machine use compares to other patients helps them use it more regularly. About 186 adults who have been on CPAP for at least three months will be split into two groups: one gets only their own usage data, the other also sees group averages and their ranking. Researchers will track changes in usage over six months to see if comparison feedback boosts adherence.
