This study looked at the best way to test for COVID-19 in K-12 schools serving underserved communities. Researchers compared two strategies: testing only people with symptoms versus weekly testing of everyone plus symptom testing. The goal was to see which approach reduced COVID-19 cases more effectively. Over 1,300 students and staff from five school districts took part.
