First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a 4-day routine of nasal washes with diluted baby shampoo and gargling with Listerine can lower the amount of COVID-19 virus in the nose and mouth of recently infected adults aged 18-65. Participants are randomly assigned to different wash combinations, and their viral load is measured over five days. The goal is to find a safe, easy way to reduce virus levels and potentially limit spread.
