Summary
This study tested whether using a baby shampoo nasal wash and Listerine mouthwash for 4 days could lower the amount of COVID-19 virus in the nose and throat of recently infected adults aged 18-65. Participants were randomly assigned to different wash combinations, including plain salt water as a comparison. The goal was to see if these simple, at-home rinses could safely reduce viral load.
