NCT ID NCT04584541

First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at how immunosuppressive drugs used for rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis affect the body's ability to fight COVID-19. Researchers compared 150 patients on these medications with infected family members not on the drugs. The goal was to measure virus levels and immune responses, including antibodies and T-cells, to see if the medications weaken the body's defense against the virus.
