Walking together: can Couples' teamwork boost health during cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT06073951
Summary
This study tested a program called 'Mates in Motion' to see if it's practical and helpful for cancer patients and their live-in partners. The program taught couples communication and teamwork skills to support each other in staying physically active during intensive treatments like stem cell transplants. Researchers measured whether the program was easy to join, stick with, and if it improved walking activity and overall physical health for both people.
