NCT ID NCT07255079
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This trial will test three different forms of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) supplements in 20 healthy adults to see which one is absorbed best by the body. Participants will take each supplement at different times, and blood levels will be measured over 72 hours. The goal is to identify the most effective formulation for boosting CoQ10 levels.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) dietary supplements in capsule and liquid forms
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could show which CoQ10 formulation is best absorbed, helping people choose a more effective supplement.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial in healthy volunteers, not patients. Results may not apply to people with health conditions, and the study only measures absorption, not health benefits.
