Healthy volunteers help test generic trazodone equivalence

NCT ID NCT06773767

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study checked if a new polymer version of trazodone hydrochloride tablets (150 mg and 300 mg) works the same in the body as the current Contramid® version. Sixty-four healthy adults took both forms and had their blood levels measured. The goal was to see if the new version is bioequivalent, not to treat any condition.
