Summary
This study looks at whether a program of computer brain games and supervised physical exercise, done before and after surgery, can help older adults (60+) keep their thinking skills and physical abilities. 250 people having major non-cardiac surgery will be randomly assigned to either the active program or a control group doing simple games and stretches. The goal is to see if this approach improves recovery and to understand who benefits most.
