Summary
This study looks at why people with COPD get very sick from a common cold virus (rhinovirus). Researchers will infect 50 volunteers—some with COPD, some healthy—in a controlled setting. They will compare lung and body responses to find new ways to prevent or treat COPD flare-ups.
